This morning standing in the kitchen making coffee, I saw Mallard ducks on the lake. In the group was a white duck with a black head. I have never seen one like this before. My excitement cannot be understated. . . . more

Today was in the high 50's and sunny, although a bit windy. The deeper part of the lake is still frozen, the wind was whipping the water. The seagulls love the wind and are fun to watch.
